Muscle training workouts for women

             Most women believe that dumbbell and other weight lifting machines would lead to muscle growth and will make them look like men. However this is a myth because women cannot get muscles like men, without the help of steroids or other hormonal injections. It has been researched that women lack the hormones which built muscles and are present in men. Hence doing dumbbells won't make you look masculine but it will certainly help you look more toned up and help you in losing weight.
 
It has been a common myth that women using dumbbells, barbells, or machines will get muscles like men. But women don't have genetics and hormones that promote bigger muscles and hence even if you are performing about 10-15 reps you cannot gain muscles. But strength training is a vital exercise that can help you to lose weight. This also helps in the burning of most of the calories in the body. It has been seen that women usually lose about a half pound of muscle every year after age 25. Hence in this process you are getting fatter with the growing age. But by lifting weights the strength of the calorie burning muscle cells is improved and the chances of weigh reduction are also higher. But no matter how much weights you lift or number of repetitions you perform the muscles of a women's body cannot become like that of a man's. The only chance of this happening is when steroids are taken.
 
Many women have successful records of strength training exercises and it has also been seen that they were able to lose weight faster. This has proved to be very effective for the women above the age of 35. Strength training is one of the rare options where women are able to work out and lose calories as well as inches. Combining aerobics and other forms of these exercises with strength training has proven to be effective in losing weight as well as losing inches. Also the body becomes firm and toned up due to the strength training routine and the only thing women gain with this workout is muscles and not fat.
